Concern Arbat opens Teutedzhak gold mine, annual output at 3 tns

MAGADAN, May 16 (PRIME) -- Russian gold company Concern Arbat has launched the Teutedzhak gold mine in the Magadan Region with production capacity of up to 3 tonnes annually, CEO Alexander Basansky told reporters on Tuesday.

“The mine will produce up to 3 tonnes of gold per year. One million tonnes of ore will be processed. About 300 new jobs will be created,” he said.

The mine will produce gold all year round and its prospective reserves are 75 tonnes, Basansky added.
